Faith and Family Hospice supports a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit charitable foundation
Vision : Through Spiritual Outreach, Restoring Faith in Hospice
Mission: Support hospice patients and their families by providing supplemental services to needy hospice patients and families, offering educational and training initiatives for hospice caregivers, and promoting awareness and advocacy on behalf of hospice patients to ensure the best possible hospice experience.
The Foundation affirms the entitlement to essential hospice services for patients and their families – including spiritual counseling – before, during and after the hospice experience.
The Foundation stands on four pillars that help patients, families and communities:
Education and Training Programs
Seminars, webinars, in-house training on faith’s role in hospice to caregivers, professional staff and members of the clergy of all faiths.
Direct Support of Supplemental Services
Our Patients & Families in Need program provides assistance to hospice patients confined to their homes that is not covered by the Medicare or Medicaid Hospice Benefit or private insurers.
Children's Assistance Fund
Supports pediatric hospice patients in realizing their dreams with an emphasis on meaningful, spiritual encounters that uplift children, parents and family members.
National Awareness for Patients, Families and Communities
Public outreach that helps bring attention to patients’ and families’ entitlement to essential faith-based hospice services. This includes spiritual counseling, before, during and after the patient’s hospice experience.
