I will offer a physicians perspective. I am not normally involved with my patients after they get referred to a hospice. Prior to working with the Medical Director at Faith and Family I truly didn’t realize the scope of care that can be provided. I typically measure care by a clinical standard. My eyes are open and I have a different perspective on how hospice can help my patients live longer with more dignity and how the family has better closure and mental health. I only wished that all my patients were in their service area. Well done!

Testimonials
Our lives are different because of your support. My father was a difficult man and he was very close to the chest with his past. My children were actually afraid of him. While visiting my father with my brother I learned that the Faith and Family staff were actually annotating his life story in the Faith and Family biography book. We learned things about him that we had no prior knowledge of. These stories collected by their Social Worker provided insight into my father past never seen nor heard of which shaped him as a young man.. I can now tell my children why grandpa is grumpy and how life was hard in the country where he was raised. I can’t thank you enough for being involved, helping us understand his reality and helping us put our reality to ease knowing more. AMAZING Hospice AMAZING involvement. In his last days my children actually wanted to visit him in the nursing home and they saw one of the few smiles I had seldom seen in my 49 years. We never knew that this would be the best experience of our entire family’s lives. To have closure, smile and fill the gaps that always plagued us. God bless you all and thank you! Can’t say enough good about your unique care.
